Founded in 2011, Velosmith Bicycle Studio in Wilmette, Illinois builds custom bicycles tailored to individual riding needs and preferences. The shop carries frame builders Mosaic Cycles, Parlee Cycles, Seven Cycles, and Eyewater, along with components from Enve Composites, Dario Pegoretti, and Chris King. Rather than maintaining a static inventory, Velosmith uses display samples to inspire clients through a consultative process that maps riding goals, terrain, and comfort priorities to a bespoke build.
