Founded in 1952 in Hinsdale, Illinois, King Keyser Sporting Goods began as a general sporting-goods store before its founders' passion for skiing made winter sports the core focus. The shop became a snowboard pioneer, starting to carry boards in 1982. King Keyser now operates as a dual-focus retailer: a primary ski and snowboard tuning, rental, and apparel shop with state-of-the-art tuning equipment and custom boot fitting, plus a bicycle service and repair operation carrying Specialized and Cannondale bikes with experienced mechanics.
