About
Erik's Skokie location, the chain's second Illinois store, sits at 3801 Oakton Street and serves Skokie, Evanston, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles, Wilmette, and North Shore communities. It carries Specialized, Aventon, 45NRTH, Teravail, SRAM, and Shimano across bikes, e-bikes, and accessories, with in-house mechanics offering same-day repairs, tune-ups, and a complimentary 90-day safety check. The shop also operates a full ski and snowboard service department (tuning, binding work, hot wax) and a seasonal kids' ski and snowboard leasing program. Proximity to the North Shore Channel Trail (three-quarters of a mile east), North Branch Trail, and Chicago Lakefront Trail positions the store for commuters, recreation riders, and winter-sports enthusiasts.
