Founded in 1954 and owned by Greg and Kathye Balmes for 35 years, Deerfield Cyclery serves experienced riders, families, and novice cyclists across the North Shore. The shop carries Cannondale, Giant, Liv Bikes, and Reid Bicycles, and offers Level I bike fitting, custom builds, standard and comprehensive tune-ups, complete overhauls, and certified e-bike diagnostics for Yamaha and Shimano STEPS systems. Greg Balmes is a USA Cycling Coach and Level I Bike Fitter; the team includes Head Mechanic Dusty McAdams. The shop actively supports Holy Spokes Bicycle Ministry, accepting used bike donations year-round for faith-based youth mentoring in underserved neighborhoods.
