Snider's Cyclery was founded in 1904 as Kern Cyclery by George Lee Snider in Bakersfield, California, making it one of the oldest family-owned bicycle shops in the United States. Across 120+ years, the shop has served the Bakersfield community with bicycle sales, rentals, repair services, and professional technician support. The shop carries bikes, e-bikes, apparel, accessories, and parts, and offers free repair estimates and maintenance work. A second generation of family ownership brought locksmith services to the business in the 1930s, which continues as a separate but co-located operation.
