Sports Basement was founded in 1998 as a weekend warehouse shop in San Francisco and has grown to 15 California locations with in-house ski and bike shops. The company carries Cannondale, Felt, Surly, Breezer, Aventon, 45NRTH, and Teravail among others, supported by Shimano and SRAM components. Beyond retail, it hosts over 5,000 events annually and redistributes 10% of earnings to local schools and nonprofits through its Basementeers membership program.
