Sports Basement was founded in 1998 as a warehouse shop and has grown to 15 California locations, with dedicated in-house bike and ski shops. The company carries brands including Cannondale, Surly, Felt, Breezer, Aventon, 45NRTH, and Teravail. Beyond retail, Sports Basement hosts over 5,000 community events annually and redistributes 10% of earnings through its Basementeers program to local schools and nonprofits; staff are active cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.
