Founded in 1904 as Kern Cyclery by George Lee Snider in Bakersfield, California, Snider's Cyclery is one of the oldest family-owned bicycle shops in the United States. A fire destroyed the original Baker Street location in 2001; the shop reopened on Union Avenue in 2003 and continues to serve the Bakersfield community with bike sales, repair, rentals, and fitting services. The shop carries bicycles, e-bikes, apparel, accessories, and parts, with professionally trained technicians offering maintenance, repair estimates, and e-bike advice.
