Snider's Cyclery was founded in 1904 by George Lee Snider as Kern Cyclery in Bakersfield, California, and is one of the oldest family-owned bicycle shops in the United States. Now in its third generation of family ownership, the shop operates from its Union Avenue location (following a 2001 fire at the original Baker Street site) and serves the Bakersfield community with bikes, apparel, accessories, parts, rentals, and repair services. The shop carries bicycles, e-bikes, and gear across multiple categories, and offers professional repair, maintenance, and free estimates on all work.
