Founded in 1978 by Jim Curwood, Buy My Bikes (originally South County Cyclery) has served San Juan Capistrano and surrounding Orange County for 47 years. The shop carries Giant, Electra, Fuji, Kona, Rad Power, and others, with weekly restocks and special orders available. All bikes purchased come with one year of free service; the shop also repairs all brands regardless of purchase origin, offers rentals (pedal, pedal-assist, and throttle e-bikes), and stocks bikes for kids, BMX, beach cruisers, mountain, electric, balance bikes, and adult tricycles. Named Business of the Year by the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce, the shop positions itself on personal attention and no-appointment repairs rather than big-box retail.
