Sports Basement began in 1998 as a weekend warehouse shop in San Francisco and has grown to 15 California locations, with in-house bike and ski shops. The Long Beach store carries Cannondale, Surly, Breezer, Felt, Aventon, 45NRTH, and Teravail alongside SRAM and Shimano components. The retailer hosts over 5,000 community events annually and distributes 10% of earnings to local schools and nonprofits through its Basementeers membership program.
