West Town Bikes is a youth development organization founded and led by Executive Director Alex Wilson, operating Ciclo Urbano, a full-service bike shop at 2459 W Division St in Chicago's West Town neighborhood. The organization empowers youth through bicycle mechanic classes, open-shop community repair sessions, and hands-on education programs delivered both at the shop location and across the city. Beyond retail and repair, West Town Bikes runs youth programs that use bikes as a tool for positive transformation, offering open shops where community members learn bike maintenance while building self-sufficiency and economic opportunity.
