Aaron Paterson opened Storrs Center Cycle in 2010 after earning a master's in political science from UConn, returning to the bike industry with over 25 years of mechanical experience and a lifelong connection to the Storrs area's roads and trails. The shop carries 45NRTH, Cannondale, Juliana, Santa Cruz, Shimano, SRAM, Surly, and Teravail, and performs in-house work ranging from flats and tune-ups to hydraulic brake service and custom suspension. Paterson is known for meticulous wheel building and a transparent repair philosophy: free diagnosis, itemized estimates, no upselling, and repair over replacement.
