Sports Basement began in 1998 as a weekend warehouse shop in San Francisco and has grown to 15 California locations with in-house ski and bike shops. The company carries brands including Cannondale, Felt, Surly, Teravail, 45NRTH, Aventon, and Shimano. Beyond retail, Sports Basement hosts over 5,000 events annually across its stores and operates a rentals program; 10% of earnings are redistributed to local schools and nonprofits through its Basementeers membership program.
