Roscoe Village Bikes opened in March 2007 when owners Alex and Lesley Tweedie converted a 1890s tailor shop in the Roscoe Village neighborhood, preserving original cabinetry and workbenches. The shop carries Giant, Liv, Jamis, Linus, KHS, and BMC bikes, along with 45NRTH, Salsa, Surly, and Teravail components and accessories for commuters, recreational riders, competitive cyclists, and kids. Services include repair of all makes and models (including e-bikes), wheel building, custom builds, electronic shifting work, stroller and wheelchair repair, and pack-and-ship assembly; mechanics provide free estimates with 30-day labor guarantees.
