Offbeat Bikes (originally Four Star Family Cyclery) was founded in 2017 by Mandalyn Renicker, a mom seeking an alternative to car transport, and became Chicago's first bike shop to specialize in e-cargo bikes. Located in Logan Square at 3101 W Diversey Ave, the shop operates by appointment only and carries premium e-cargo brands including Tern, Urban Arrow, and Riese & Müller, alongside accessories from Ortlieb, Bosch, and others.
