DreamBikes is a 501(c)3 nonprofit operating in Madison (since 2008) and Milwaukee (since 2010) that refurbishes used bicycles and sells them back to the community at affordable prices. The organization employs teens from local youth organizations in paid, hands-on positions teaching bike repair, customer service, and POS software. Over 25 years, DreamBikes has refurbished and distributed more than 25,000 used bikes and provided job training to over 350 teens. The Milwaukee location, opened in 2010 through a partnership with Boys & Girls Club of Milwaukee, features a full showroom; Madison hosts community events and bike rentals.
