Big Swingin' Cycles was founded in 2000 in San Francisco's Sunset District by Lori & Brian Bruckner, consolidated to Russian Hill in 2006, and expanded in 2019 with The Lodge in Fairfax to serve trail, gravel, and road riders across the Bay Area. The shop carries Yeti, Salsa, All-City, Surly, 45NRTH, Benno, Teravail, and Shimano/SRAM components, with demo fleets including Yeti XC and trail bikes, Salsa e-MTBs, and gravel bikes. Services include general repairs (3: 5 day service turnaround), bike demos, trade-ins, used and consignment inventory, and kids' bikes through Woom. The shop has sponsored high-school mountain biking in SF, the Nor Cal High School Cycling League, SF Urban Riders trail work, the Lion of Fairfax Cyclo-Cross race, and cycling teams and clubs across the Bay Area.
