Venture Handmade, founded in 2012 and based in Durango, Colorado, designs and hand-builds bike bags for bikepacking, touring, and commuting in a small workshop. The operation has been publicly available since 2012 and is one of the longest-running bikepacking gear makers in the world. Joey, the sole owner since 2025, brings nearly 30 years in the bicycle industry and deep backcountry travel experience to product design. The shop offers custom frame bags (16 years of refinement), top-tube bags (Cache), and lightweight panniers (Sierra SuperLights), all handcrafted in the USA with free shipping in the lower 48.
