Airline Cycles opened in East Hampton, CT in 2016, founded by Brian, who spent 25+ years in bike shops across Wallingford, Boulder, and Portland before launching the storefront. The shop merged with Sunshine Cycle in 2020, adding longtime mechanic Chris to its roster. It carries Giant, Liv, Norco, Cannondale, and Aventon, alongside brands like Surly, 45nrth, Pivot, and Teravail. David, a former professional downhill racer and suspension specialist, leads gravity-bike setup; the team sponsors the Stage 1 Cycling Team, which races road, cyclocross, mountain bike, fat bike, and enduro, with riders ranging from age 6 to 60+.
