About
Vashon Bikes began in 2015 operating from a 21-foot box truck behind Burton Coffee Stand on Vashon Island, then relocated to a permanent storefront in 2019. Founded and operated by Brian (owner/master technician) and Deja (owner/operator/service and sales), the shop emphasizes bicycle repair, maintenance, and custom wheel building. Brian's background in automotive repair and mechanical work informs the shop's philosophy: keeping well-maintained bicycles running smoothly year-round. The team trains technicians through apprenticeship and positions repair and renewal as priorities over replacement.
