Question 1

What bike services does Sporthaus offer?

Accepted Answer

Sporthaus provides bike tune-ups ranging from basic tunes to full overhauls, as well as service and replacement of parts for all major components. The shop handles everything needed to keep a bike performing at its best throughout the season.

Question 2

Does Sporthaus offer rentals?

Accepted Answer

Sporthaus primarily focuses on ski, snowboard, and snowshoe rentals rather than bike rentals. Renters can reserve equipment online ahead of time to speed up the pickup process, though rentals operate on a first-come, first-served basis without guaranteed reservations.

Question 3

What are the rental return policies at Sporthaus?

Accepted Answer

All rentals must be returned by 6:00 p.m. on the day of use to avoid being charged an extra day. Weekend rentals picked up Friday must be returned by 6:00 p.m. Saturday, with a $30 late fee applied for missed deadlines. Each additional consecutive day after the first is 50% off the daily rate.

Question 4

Can someone rent equipment on Sunday from Sporthaus?

Accepted Answer

Sporthaus is closed on Sundays. Customers planning to ski Sunday may pick up equipment Saturday between 12:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m., then return it Monday no later than 12:00 p.m. when the shop reopens at 8:30 a.m.

Question 5

Does Sporthaus carry only bikes, or other sports gear as well?

Accepted Answer

Sporthaus is a multi-sport retailer that carries bikes and cycling gear alongside ski and snowboard equipment, as well as tennis and pickleball gear. The shop offers services and rentals across all three sports categories.
