Established in 1969, The Pony Shop has served Evanston cyclists for over five decades under owner Lou Kuhn, a lifelong cyclist and hands-on mechanic who took over in 2004. The shop carries Cannondale, Cervélo, Santa Cruz, Giant, Pivot, Colnago, Factor, and 3T, and offers custom wheelbuilding, frame-up custom builds, full overhauls, hydraulic disc brake bleeds, and assembly of bikes purchased online. Year-round employed mechanics handle everything from quick flat repairs to complete performance builds for road, mountain, and commuter riders.
