Summit Cycling Center is a nonprofit located in the basement of the Barley House in Downtown Akron's Lock 3 district, partnering with the LeBron James Family Foundation, the City of Akron, the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition, and State Farm. Its mission is to promote bicycles as transportation alternatives by providing affordably priced goods and services, refurbishing used bikes, and offering bench time, bike maintenance, repairs, and basic maintenance instruction to the public.
