San José Bike Clinic is a volunteer-run, nonprofit community bicycle workshop located at 80 N 4th St in downtown San Jose, fiscally sponsored by the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition. Founded in 2012 from an exploratory meeting of 25 cycling advocates, it operates as a shared space for DIY repair instruction and bicycle education rather than a traditional retail shop. The clinic hosts monthly skill shares, appears at the San Jose Downtown Farmers Market, leads occasional rides, and organizes public events like the Coming Out Demo (2012) and Bike to Work Gear-Up, with a mission to build a robust and diverse cycling community through education and tool access.
