About
Founded in 2012 by Taro after leaving corporate work, RLB Cycleworks is a small independent shop in Libertyville serving the Chicagoland area. The shop specializes in servicing most makes and models, selling reconditioned pre-owned bikes, and performing mechanical e-bike work (tires, brakes, cables, derailleurs). Taro emphasizes approachable repair advice and no-judgment service for casual cyclists, explicitly catering to riders who feel intimidated by typical bike shops.
