Founded in June 2010 by avid mountain bike racer and former professional motorcycle racer Rick Schopp, INTENT operates as a bike shop, coaching hub, and fitness facility across Libertyville and Woodridge, Illinois. The shop offers full-service bike maintenance and repair alongside fitness classes, personal training, and multisport coaching. INTENT's community focus centers on competitive racing teams: including a Youth Triathlon Team: and skills clinics in bike handling, running form, and open-water swimming, built on the philosophy of training and racing with deliberate intention.
