What is the ownership and history of Retro City Cycles?

Jess and Dano Kinnee opened Retro City Cycles Orlando in March 2007. Dano is a graduate of the Bill Woodall Bicycle Mechanics School and holds USCF bicycle mechanic certification and DT Swiss wheel builder certification. In January 2023, the owners opened a second location in Longwood after closing their Ocala shop.

Is an appointment required to drop off a bike for service?

No appointment is necessary; customers can drop off their bikes at either location during business hours.

What community involvement does Retro City Cycles have?

The shop is an active member and sponsor of the Florida Freewheelers cycling club, Florida Bicycle Association, IMBA, and other local cycling organizations. Jess Kinnee founded the Dirty Divas, a ladies mountain bike club, and serves as Executive Director of the Florida Freewheelers.
