About
REM Bicycle and Fitness was founded in 1989 by Paul, a mechanic with a passion for cycling and community impact, starting in a one-room basement shop before moving to its current location at 804 Main Street in downtown Jasper, Indiana. The shop carries Trek, Surly, Rad Power, Aventon, 45NRTH, Electra, and Teravail, alongside Shimano and SRAM components. Beyond bicycles, REM provides service and repair for home and commercial fitness equipment, including preventative maintenance, equipment assembly, and equipment moving. Current owner Ethan Trusty has run the shop since 2019, continuing the original mission of expert service and community engagement.
