Founded in 1997 by Aaron Goss as Aaron's Bicycle Repair, Rat City Bikes has grown from a 290-square-foot shop in Seattle to its current location in White Center at 9614 16th Avenue SW. The shop specializes in restorations, internally geared hubs, and wheel building, with tens of thousands of small spare parts for bikes spanning the last 85 years. It tackles repairs other shops decline, including vintage Schwinn restoration alongside modern mountain bikes, suspension work, disc brake conversion, bike fitting, and painting.
