PEDAL was founded in 2011 by Tim Krone and Ryan Maguire and now operates two locations in Kalamazoo: downtown on Michigan Ave and in Portage on Romence Rd. The shop carries brands including Trek, Cannondale, Santa Cruz, Giant, Cervelo, Surly, 45NRTH, Aventon, Gazelle, Electra, and Teravail, alongside Shimano and SRAM components. Beyond retail, PEDAL runs a service department, organizes group rides for riders of all levels, sponsors races, and invests in local trail development.
