Opened in 1982, Outspokin' Bicycles was among the first professional bike shops in the Southeast, and owner Brian Curran has run it since 1997. Located in Irmo and Columbia, SC, the shop carries Trek, Salsa, Electra, 45NRTH, and Teravail, and offers professional bike fitting (Curran is Trek Level 2 and F.I.S.T. certified), wheel building, and USCF-certified general repair. The shop has sponsored race teams and podium finishers; Curran emphasizes staff diversity, from category-1 road racers to casual trail riders, to serve customers across all experience levels.
