About
Journeyman's Adventure Co., established in 2018 at 115 N 18th St in Richmond, Virginia, evolved from Shift Bicycles (founded 2016) into a specialized builder for touring and adventure cycling. Owner Glenn Amey, a 30-year Richmond small-business veteran, leads a shop focused on American-made components and bespoke builds. The custom shop partners exclusively with Seven Cycles, Ritchey Cycles, and Co-Motion Cycles, and stocks Paul Components, White Industries, Chris King, Cane Creek, Industry 9, and Rolf Prima alongside Shimano and Surly.
