Founded in 1910, Agee's Bicycles is now among the nation's oldest bike shops, operating three locations across Richmond (original Cary Street, Midlothian Turnpike since 1974, West Broad Street since 1976). Four generations of the Agee family remain active. The shop carries 45nrth, Cannondale, Electra, Salsa, Shimano, Sram, and Teravail, with inventory ranging from $200 kids bikes to $10,000 performance builds. Every bike receives complete professional assembly and a free 30-day tune-up; staff provide fitting consultation, test rides at multiple locations, and ongoing repair service with discounted rates for purchasers.
