Bluedog Cycles opened in October 2005 when Pete and Alycann Taylor returned to Wisconsin from Idaho and settled in Viroqua, a small town in the heart of the Driftless Region. The shop carries Giant, Juliana, Kona, Salsa, Santa Cruz, Surly, 45NRTH, Teravail, and Shimano/SRAM components, and serves family, mountain, road, and gravel cyclists alongside snowshoers and cross-country skiers. Beyond sales and repairs, Bluedog hosts Camp Bluedog kids bike camp, the annual Pertnear 20 bike race, weekly group road and mountain rides, and maintains a public maintenance workshop; the owners are active in trail development and advocacy in the region.
