Bay City Cycles has operated from a historic main street building in Ashland, Wisconsin since 1981 under family ownership and is rooted in the Chequamegon community. The shop carries Trek and Surly bicycles, along with brands including 45nrth, Electra, Shimano, SRAM, and Teravail, and offers tune-up packages, a la carte repair, custom bike builds, and group rides. Lead mechanic Eric Houle specializes in gravel and custom builds, while co-owner Alex Faber leads a weekly casual group ride May: October and hosts community workshops and presentations.
