Barker Mountain Bikes opened in Bethel, Maine in 2015 and was purchased by Eric Stephenson in June 2022. The shop builds, services, and sells bikes, with staff who ride and race themselves. It carries 45NRTH alongside a general range of bikes, pedals, grips, e-bikes, helmets, body armor, and shoes, and welcomes service on bikes purchased elsewhere. The shop emphasizes community cycling and sponsors a racing team (BMB Racing Team) focused on junior and female participation across all cycling disciplines.
