Founded in 2008, Backcountry Bike and Ski serves Palmer, Alaska with bicycles and skis for every season. The shop carries Kona, Salsa, Surly, Benno, Electra, 45NRTH, and Teravail alongside components from Shimano and SRAM. Services include professional tune-ups with an industry-leading 3-year complimentary plan on all new bike purchases, ski and snowboard repairs, bike and ski rentals, and trail advocacy support. The shop hosts and sponsors community events including the annual Palmer Classic.
