Downtown Bicycle Rental operates year-round from 333 W. 4th Avenue in Anchorage, with over 180 rental bikes across three rooms and a fleet of more than 40 e-bikes. The shop carries Breezer, Fuji, and Shimano, and offers 8-speed and 24-speed hybrids, kids bikes, e-bikes, road, mountain, tandems, and tag-alongs for rent. It provides free locks, helmets, maps, panniers, frame bags, repair kits, and bear spray for multi-day renters, with tiered hourly rates (first 3 hours from $22: $45) and weekly options. The shop also runs a seasonal Flattop Mountain shuttle service and a bike-hike combo, and serves walk-ins year-round with extended summer hours (8 a.m.: 11 p.m. in June: August).
