Allspeed was founded in 1990 by legendary Portland mountain biker Gary Buch, who pioneered early local mountain bike trails and led the first weekly group MTB rides in the area. The shop operates from 936 Brighton Ave in Portland, ME, and continues under owner Chris Carleton (who took over in 2009). Allspeed carries bikes and cycling gear across a wide range, offers full-service bicycle repairs for all makes and models with free estimates, and maintains a retail presence rooted in mountain biking and skiing culture.
