ACME Bicycle Co. operates two locations: Brooklyn (by appointment) and Katonah (Tues: Sat 10: 5): with a founding principle of prioritizing bicycle fitting as the entry point to all sales and service. Co-owners Jonathan Blyer (Brooklyn, Retul and International Bike Fit Institute certified, fitting since 2006) and Colin Tanner (Katonah, Guru and Retul certified, former USA Cycling coach and physical therapist) lead a team that includes endurance coach Greg Close and mechanic Mahr Bazlee in Brooklyn, and Laura managing operations across both locations. The shop partners with No. 22, Factor, Moots, Time, ENVE, Orbea, Open, Parlee, Wilier, Colnago, and Look, alongside Giant and Shimano, each bike outfitted to match the customer's fit, goals, and material preferences. Its 14+ years of refined fitting methodology: refined through dynamic analysis rather than static rules: supports both bike sales and comprehensive repair work.
