Minnesota's suburbs meet serious cycling

Top bike shops in Bloomington, Minnesota

Eight local bike shops serve Bloomington's cycling community, with brands like Electra, 45NRTH, Teravail, Shimano, and Salsa well-represented across the area.

Part of the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area

Bloomington sits in the Twin Cities metro where riders contend with Minnesota winters and the region's distinctive terrain: neither mountains nor completely flat, with plenty of lakes and parks shaping local routes. The cycling culture here reflects that reality: commuters and recreational riders alike prepare for seasonal shifts, while shops stock gear suited to year-round riding in a climate that demands it.
