Question 1

What bike fitting service does World Cup Ski and Cycle offer?

Accepted Answer

The shop uses the Guru bicycle fit system for professional bike fitting. The Guru fit begins with questions about riding style and goals, followed by body measurements and laser-guided positioning on an adaptive fit cycle. The fit cycle can adjust positions in real time and includes an integrated power meter to test efficiency in different riding positions.

Question 2

Can customers get a bike fit on an existing bicycle, or only when purchasing a new one?

Accepted Answer

World Cup Ski and Cycle offers Guru fits for both new and existing bicycles. If not in the market for a new bike, a fit determines the optimal riding position for a customer's current bicycle so adjustments can be made for comfort and performance.

Question 3

How does World Cup Ski and Cycle handle repair estimates?

Accepted Answer

When a bicycle is brought in for maintenance or repair, the shop's professionally trained technicians assess the bike's needs and provide a free, no-obligation estimate before proceeding with any work.

Question 4

When did World Cup Ski and Cycle open?

Accepted Answer

World Cup Ski and Cycle was founded on November 14th, 1995 at the Cedar Cliff Mall in Camp Hill, PA. The shop is now located at its 4th location at 3501 Simpson Ferry Road.

Question 5

Does the shop require an appointment for bike fitting, or can customers walk in?

Accepted Answer

Customers should call ahead and schedule an appointment with World Cup Ski and Cycle for a personalized Guru bike fit session.
