Westside Joe's Bikes reopened in 2015 on the West End of Alameda, continuing a lineage that began in 1939 when the original Joe's Bike Shop opened on Webster Street. Owned and operated by Vivee since 2020, the shop carries Breezer, Fuji, Gazelle, Pedego, and Rad Power, and specializes in city, cargo, and commuter bikes while serving road, gravel, mountain, and kids riders. Services include tune-ups, drivetrain and brake work, wheel tuning, hydraulic disc brake bleeds, vintage bicycle refurbishing, out-of-box builds, and curbside pickup and Bay Area delivery. The shop also rents pedal and e-bikes, hosts group bike rides, and has donated pre-loved bicycles to South Africa.
