Founded in 2019 by Michael Hullinger and his family, West Plains Bike Shop operates in downtown West Plains, MO with a focus on serving the local biking community. The shop carries Giant bikes and offers a full range of mechanical services from basic tube changes ($15) through complete overhauls ($285), with tuning packages addressing brakes, shifting, wheels, and drivetrain work. Hullinger attended Barnett Bicycle Institute to strengthen repair skills and explicitly limits e-bike service to standard bicycles and Aventon models purchased in-house, declining electrical diagnostics and work on online-sourced e-bikes due to safety and parts-availability constraints.
