About
Founded in 2012, Village Bicycle Cooperative is a 100% volunteer-operated 501c3 nonprofit located in the basement of Bay Village's Community House in Cahoon Park. The shop accepts donated bicycles, repairs safety issues, and distributes them free to disadvantaged people through its Fix-it-Forward program via partner social service agencies. It also sells bicycles to the public to fund operations, and runs education programs on repair, safety, and bicycle law in collaboration with local schools and youth/senior organizations.
