NBX Bikes grew from the 1989 founding of Narragansett Bikes, acquired in 2007 and expanded through the absorption of Caster's Bicycles (Warwick and Providence locations, late 2013) and East Providence Cycle (2015). In 2020 it consolidated to a single location in Narragansett. The shop carries Trek, Surly, 45NRTH, Electra, Teravail, and Shimano/SRAM components. Services include full-service repairs, bike fitting, smart trainer installation, and a new-bike service plan (30-ride check, free tune-up within one year, static fitting, lifetime frame warranty). NBX hosts three recurring group rides: Thursday night 22-mile road rides through Narragansett and Galilee, a Monday morning casual café ride (May: October, 15 miles at 10: 12 mph), and a criterium training series.
