The Meteor was founded in October 2019 by Doug Zell, founder of Intelligentsia Coffee, and Chris St. Peter, a former attorney, combining a bike shop with a cafe and natural wine bar. The Bentonville location is one of four across Arkansas and Texas, each pairing boutique bike retail with ingredient-driven food and specialty coffee. The shop carries Allied, Specialized, Shimano, Canyon, Factor, Colnago, Moots, Mosaic, and others, and serves experienced cyclists, newcomers, commuters, and anyone who rides or aspires to ride.
