Founded in 2005 by Tom Rinker (who has worked in bike shops since 1995) and his wife Danielle, The Bicycle Escape operates as a mobile service shop serving the Frederick, Maryland area. The shop carries Rad Power e-bikes and offers tiered service packages ($65: $155) with free pickup and delivery or on-site work, ranging from basic tune-ups through full overhauls with wheel truing, bearing adjustment, and brake pad resurfacing.
