About
Founded in Santa Cruz by engineers with decades of experience in traditional and electric bike industries, Temper Bicycle Works specializes in e-bike conversion kits, repair, and retail. The shop carries Rad Power Bikes, Lectric, Super73, Ride1Up, Blix, Himiway, and all major e-bike brands, and manufactures its own front and rear hub conversion kits in-house. Services include full e-bike tune-ups, battery and motor diagnostics, conversion kit installation (typically 1: 2 hours), and e-bike rentals by the hour or day; the shop also stocks a cargo fork designed in-house and offers same-day or next-day turnaround on most repairs.
